Zanzibar Get Ready: Industrie Africa Boosts Local Shops & Brands

Industrie Africa, a well-known platform that supports African fashion designers, just turned five and they’re launching something new and exciting. The company is now offering business support services to help small and medium sized shops in Africa grow. Their new consultancy will give store owners tools to better manage their stock, track sales, handle payments, and improve their supply chains. This is great news for African retailers who want to become more organized and professional, especially in places like Tanzania, Uganda and hopefully soon, Zanzibar.

Even more exciting for Zanzibar, Industrie Africa is debuting its new Select service in partnership with SoLA, short for Society of Luxury Artisanship. SoLA is a beautiful concept store located on Bawe Island, just off the coast of Zanzibar, and it features designer brands from across Africa and beyond. To mark this flagship project, Industrie Africa and SoLA just released an exclusive collection in collaboration with Tongoro, the well known fashion label from Senegal loved by none other than Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

For shop owners, designers, and creative entrepreneurs in Zanzibar, this is a big opportunity. Many local businesses want to grow but don’t always have the right tools or knowledge. Industrie Africa’s new services can help fix that. It will give brands better systems to work smarter and reach more customers across East Africa and internationally. As Zanzibar’s fashion, beauty, and lifestyle scene continues to grow, now is the time to level up and take advantage of tools that can help make business easier, faster, and more successful.
